All-Inclusive Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Package - $1,070 per hunter for complete lodge guest package. Thursday afternoon thru Sunday mornings. Our objective is for you to harvest a mature buck 10 points or better over 150 inches B&C score, one whitetail doe and 2 hogs of your choice. 

(You will see a lot of animals on our Hunting Ranch so we recommend that you wait to harvest any Does and hogs until after you have harvested your intended Trophy)

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting in Texas is the origin of our hunting program and our ranch has been enrolled in a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department approved Managed Land Deer Program since 2000. Quality Deer Management Practices that produce great whitetail deer hunting opportunities include; harvesting Does, seasonal food plots, year round protein feeding, aging, & selective harvest. This whitetail management program creates Big Trophy Whitetail Bucks and allows for one to see and harvest whitetail deer ranging from 140 inches to over 200 inches Boone and Crocket scores. Like most Texas Deer Hunting our hunts are conducted in comfortable elevated hunting blinds with stairs & handrails for additional safety. They overlook large food plots or corn fed scendaro’s. This is a common Texas game management tool for hunters & ranch managers in aiding to harvest 10% of the estimated 4.5 million deer population in this state. At Dawson Whitetail Ranch You should expect to see up to 20 bucks each hunt as we manage for a two to one buck to Doe ratio. Our Texas Whitetail Hunting Ranch has produced a 97.8% success rate for our guests since 2000. A big part of this success rate is our guest’s ability to shoot accurately is checked on our range prior to the actual hunt, but that doesn’t always cure “Buck Fever”.

We pride ourselves in delivering a successful and quality Whitetail Deer Hunting Package experience for the individual who is short on time and wants to actually see many trophy bucks while relaxing away the everyday stress from back home. An out of state Whitetail Deer Hunting license is around $300 and not included in your hunt price. Youth Whitetail Deer Hunting License is around $50 — you can purchase it online at the Texas Parks & Wildlife website. We have a local taxidermist available to assist with trophy preservation and shipping. We provide a walk in cooler and ice as well as relationships with local butchers to take care of your meat. Meat processing, taxidermy, & shipping are not included but can be arranged easily. You can typically get a deer or a hog cut and wrapped for less than $100 and you can pick up a cooler at the local WALMART.
